Photos are from La Romana, Dominican Republic. At $6.50 per gallon (U.S. currency) you will see a sea of motorcycles in the town. Mainly 125cc bikes. There are no traffic laws. You are allowed to drive any speed you wish. Drink and driving is not illegal. El Presidente beer tasted really good. Hand harvested sugar cane. Chicken, rice, beans and fruit is all they eat. It was rare to see an over weight person. Tons of hand made artwork. $250 a month is the average salary. As poor as this city is right now, I've never seen so many people smile...
